Downey's

Downey’s Restaurant, overlooking Penn’s Landing at Front and South Streets, opened in Philadelphia in 1976.  The restaurant is located in the city’s premier neighborhood, Society Hill.  The rich mahogany bar, wood panels and stained glass panes were imported from County Cork in Ireland.  Downey’s is delighted to share these treasures with you and hope they make you feel at home.  Their proximity to Historic Philadelphia and Independence Mall makes Downey’s an ideal stop for groups requiring a relaxing meal.  The eclectic selection of shops on South Street makes it a unique shopping experience.

Downey’s offers group facilities for Brunch, Lunch and Dinner.  “Upstairs at Downey’s” offers a seating capacity of 125 guests for sit-down meals or buffets, more for a standing cocktail reception.
