Copabanana

Copabanana was born in 1978 on Philadelphia 's famous South Street during that street's colorful renaissance.

Starting as a tiny pub with a kitchen in the window the restaurant grew over the years to include four storefronts and an outside sidewalk cafe. The menu has grown, too.

The signature gourmet burgers, fresh lime margaritas and Spanish fries remain the big draw, but the menu now also include full dinners with a tropical flair.

A long parade of “Best” awards have honored the restaurants burgers, margaritas and fries as has the most recent Zagat's guide.

Copabanana is right next door to legendary Philadelphia concert venue, the TLA.
